Nook Pools

Servicing the South Coast and Southern Highlands of New South Wales, including Wollongong, Nowra, Bowral, and Goulburn.

Nook Pools was created from a simple idea: the spaces around a home should feel intentional, calming, and connected to the way we actually live. A pool is a big part of that picture, and when it is chosen and specified well, it shapes the entire feel of the home.

Founded by Paul, Nook Pools combines thoughtful design, creative thinking and a love for transforming overlooked spaces into places people genuinely enjoy spending time in. What started as conversations about architecture, interiors, landscaping and lifestyle design evolved into a clear vision for pools: forms, colours and equipment that feel personal, functional and timeless.

Paul brings a strategic and creative mindset, focusing on the bigger picture, the customer experience, and the small details that make a pool feel effortless once it is in the ground. The goal is always the same: a result that looks resolved on day one and still feels right years later.

We chose the California Sparkle as our pool shell colour. I think it is quite new to the colour range and could not be happier. The reflections are beautiful and the appearance is very fresh/bright looking. The best thing about choosing a pool shell colour with The Fibreglass Pool Company is the chance to see a variety of colours in real life at the showroom. And to see the colours against a variety of tiles to make the best choice to suit your home. We love it.
Response from the owner:Hi Mel, thank you so much for your lovely feedback. California Sparkle is a beautiful choice, and we’re so happy to hear you love how fresh and bright it looks. It’s great to know the showroom helped you feel confident with your colour selection. We hope you enjoy your pool for many years to come. Kind Regards, TFPC Team

Choosing a Plunge Pool in Wollongong?

What is a plunge pool?

A plunge pool is a smaller swimming pool generally chosen for cooling off, relaxing and enjoying time in the water without requiring the dimensions of a large family pool. Its reduced size can also help homeowners preserve more backyard space for entertaining, landscaping and other outdoor uses.

There isn’t one fixed measurement that defines every plunge pool. They are typically smaller than conventional swimming pools and designed to use available outdoor space efficiently. Our small and slimline fibreglass range provides several different dimensions for homeowners wanting a similar space-saving option.

The best design will depend on the shape, width and available area of your backyard. Models such as the Imperial, Stradbroke, Heron and Hamilton Slimline are useful options to compare when you want smaller dimensions while still retaining practical room for swimming and relaxation.

Every project is different, so the final price will depend on your chosen pool, property access, excavation, site conditions, installation requirements and any additional features. Having your property assessed allows your local team to prepare a quote based on the actual requirements of your backyard.

Yes. Small fibreglass pools can still provide useful open water for casual swimming, cooling off and spending time with family. How much swimming room you have will depend on the size and internal layout of the model you select.

Installation timeframes vary depending on site access, excavation requirements, approvals, weather and the overall project. Because fibreglass pool shells are manufactured before arriving onsite, the installation process can often be more streamlined than traditional concrete pool construction.

Pool approval, engineering and safety requirements depend on your property and individual project. Your local pool team can help coordinate the necessary approvals and compliance requirements before installation begins.
