Fibreglass Pools For Wollongong Homes

Wollongong’s location between the coastline and the Illawarra Escarpment gives the area a distinctive mix of properties, from relatively level coastal and suburban blocks to elevated and sloping sites. That makes choosing a pool that works with the individual property especially important.

For households wanting plenty of room for swimming, play and entertaining, our family pool range includes designs across a variety of sizes and layouts. If you have a smaller outdoor area or want to retain more backyard space for landscaping and entertaining, explore our dedicated Plunge Pools Wollongong page for compact and slimline designs.

For homeowners who enjoy swimming for exercise, the Hampton Lap Pool Series offers longer designs with generous open swimming space.

Contact: Keith Wilson

Sublime Pools is a family-owned business operated by Keith and Rachel Wilson. Personally, Keith has over 25 years’ experience installing fibreglass swimming pools alongside his dad, Jim of Irresistible Pools. Together they have over 67 years’ experience between them, so you could say they know what’s what when it comes to pools.

Keith learnt everything he knows from Jim, whose motto is “Do it once, do it right”. Jim prides his business on looking after his customers and goes above and beyond when it comes to service and quality. This is something Sublime Pools is proud to carry on in their own businesses.

In today’s economy, the continuous price rises can be pretty challenging and Sublime Pools also pride themselves on offering affordable pools and equipment, in an effort to help customers save money wherever possible.

Keith and Jim are a close father and son team who enjoy working together to deliver the ‘Aussie dream’ to their customers, many of whom they now call friends.

Nook Pools & Spas

Servicing the South Coast and Southern Highlands of New South Wales, including Wollongong, Nowra, Bowral, and Goulburn.

Nook Pools was created from a simple idea: the spaces around a home should feel intentional, calming, and connected to the way we actually live. A pool is a big part of that picture, and when it is chosen and specified well, it shapes the entire feel of the home.

Founded by Paul, Nook Pools combines thoughtful design, creative thinking and a love for transforming overlooked spaces into places people genuinely enjoy spending time in. What started as conversations about architecture, interiors, landscaping and lifestyle design evolved into a clear vision for pools: forms, colours and equipment that feel personal, functional and timeless.

Paul brings a strategic and creative mindset, focusing on the bigger picture, the customer experience, and the small details that make a pool feel effortless once it is in the ground. The goal is always the same: a result that looks resolved on day one and still feels right years later.

Fibreglass Pools Wollongong – Frequently Asked Questions

Why choose a fibreglass pool for a Wollongong home?

Fibreglass pools offer a broad choice of sizes and layouts together with a smooth swimming surface and straightforward ongoing maintenance. This flexibility makes them suitable for many different Wollongong properties, from smaller residential blocks to more spacious family backyards.

Start with the property rather than simply choosing a pool based on its dimensions. Consider backyard access, available space, slope, landscaping, pool fencing and how much outdoor area you’d like to retain once the pool is installed. You can compare our small pools, medium pools and large pools to explore different dimensions.

Often, yes, but the installation requirements depend on the individual site. Parts of Wollongong sit on or near the slopes of the Illawarra Escarpment, while other areas are considerably flatter. Retaining, access, drainage and engineering requirements should therefore be assessed for the specific property before installation. Your authorised dealer can inspect the site and explain what may be required.

Yes. Smaller, slimline and plunge pool designs can provide a dedicated swimming area while leaving more room for landscaping, paving and outdoor entertaining. Explore our small fibreglass pools or visit our dedicated Plunge Pools Wollongong page for more compact options.

Our authorised dealers servicing Wollongong can help you compare available pool designs, dimensions and colour finishes and advise what viewing options are currently available.
