Planning Your Fibreglass Pool In Hervey Bay

Choosing the pool itself is only one part of planning your project. Backyard access, pool position, surrounding landscaping, drainage and how much usable outdoor space you’d like to retain should all be considered before installation begins. Hervey Bay receives more rainfall during the warmer summer months than through the middle of the year, so drainage and site preparation are also worth considering when planning the finished area around your pool.

Choosing The Right Pool Builder

A good pool project starts with clear advice and an understanding of the property. Your authorised Hervey Bay dealer can assess the site, discuss suitable pool sizes and explain the stages involved before installation begins. Behind every project is a fibreglass pool shell manufactured in a purpose-built facility under strict ISO 9001 standards using premium fibreglass and resin materials.

A quality pool begins with the shell beneath the finished surface. Our multi-layer fibreglass construction system combines structural reinforcement, protective materials and a durable interior finish to support strength and long-term performance. See how the complete shell is put together on our pool construction layers page.

New swimming pools and spas that can hold 300mm of water or more require building approval in the Fraser Coast region. Approval must be obtained through a private building certifier before construction or installation begins.

Queensland pool safety requirements also apply. The safety barrier must be inspected and certified, and regulated pools and spas must be registered on the QBCC Pool Safety Register. Your authorised dealer and building certifier can help guide you through the requirements relevant to your property.

A fibreglass pool is designed to remain part of your Hervey Bay home for many years, making dependable warranty protection and ongoing support important. The Fibreglass Pool Company pool shells are backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty, with an optional Lifetime Internal Warranty also available. Your authorised dealer can explain the warranty coverage applicable to your chosen pool and provide support throughout your pool ownership journey
