1. Mould Creation: The pool is shaped using a precise mould based on your design.

2. Gel Coat: A smooth, colour-rich gel coat is applied as the first layer for a beautiful finish.

3. Resin & Reinforcement: Layers of vinyl ester and polyester resins, combined with woven roving, provide structural strength.

4. Honeycomb Core: A honeycomb layer adds extra durability while keeping the pool lightweight.

5. Curing: The pool is cured in an oven for added strength before being removed from the mould.

6. Trimming & Quality Check: The pool shell is trimmed, inspected, and passes a quality assurance check.

This process results in a durable, low-maintenance pool shell designed to last for years. 

For many years, concrete pools were the most popular choice on the market. Nowadays fibreglass pools are more commonly found in Australian backyards. A concrete pool is much more expensive to install and maintain. However, there are some variables that can lengthen the time it takes to install your pool, such as weather, stalled permit approvals and the condition of the site the pool is to be installed on. The average time it takes to install a fibreglass pool is from 7 days to 3 weeks.

To maintain a fibreglass pool, you will need to regularly test and add proper levels of sanitiser, shock the water with chlorine, balance pH levels, skim the surface for debris and leaves, brush the walls of the pool and vacuum it if necessary.

Fibreglass pools are generally easier to clean than other types of pools because they have smooth surfaces that don’t easily trap dirt. Regular skimming is usually enough to keep them looking clean.
