The Fibreglass Pool Company Mackay

Mackay, Airlie Beach, Whitsundays

Our fibreglass pools are installed by the Moggy’s Developments team. Moggy’s Developments first started operating solely as a building company in Mackay in 2010, building high quality, award winning homes and sheds.

James Mogford, a multi award winning builder, made the decision to add swimming pool and spa installation to the Moggy’s portfolio in 2015, after noticing a gap in the service market. James wanted to take a more streamlined approach, ensuring that the house, shed, pool and landscape construction work seamlessly together, therefore creating a more organised and relaxed build process for the client.

At Ocean Reef Pools we specialise in above and in ground fibreglass pools that offer not only the prestigious 5 Tick Australian Standards award but also a Lifetime Warranty, which perfectly matches our high quality expectations.

At Ocean Reef Pools, Mackay and Whitsundays, we specialise in turning your dreams into reality and we look after every step including:

Planning Your Fibreglass Pool In Mackay

Planning a new pool starts with understanding how it will work with your property. Backyard access, pool position, drainage, surrounding landscaping and local approval requirements can all influence the final project. Mackay receives a large proportion of its rainfall during the summer months, so good drainage and thoughtful site preparation are particularly important when planning the area around your pool.

Choosing The Right Pool Builder

Clear communication and local knowledge are valuable when planning a new swimming pool. An authorised Mackay dealer can assess your property, help you compare suitable pool sizes and explain the stages involved before installation begins. Behind every project is a fibreglass pool shell manufactured in a purpose-built facility under strict ISO 9001 standards using premium fibreglass and resin materials.

The quality of your pool begins long before the shell reaches your backyard. Our multi-layer fibreglass construction system combines structural reinforcement, protective materials and a durable interior finish to support strength and long-term performance. Take a closer look at how each layer works together on our pool construction layers page.

Swimming pools and spas in Mackay are subject to Queensland building and pool safety requirements. Pool barriers must comply with the Queensland pool safety standard, and regulated pools are recorded on the Queensland Pool Safety Register. Mackay Regional Council also advises that pools capable of holding water to a depth of 30cm or more must meet applicable fencing requirements and may require council approval. Your authorised dealer and building certifier can help explain the approvals and safety requirements relevant to your property.

A fibreglass pool is designed to remain part of your Mackay home for many years, making reliable warranty protection and ongoing support important. The Fibreglass Pool Company pool shells are backed by a Lifetime Structural Warranty, with an optional Lifetime Internal Warranty also available. Your authorised dealer can explain the warranty coverage applicable to your selected pool and provide support throughout your pool ownership journey.
