The Fibreglass Pool Company Mackay

Mackay, Airlie Beach, Whitsundays

Our fibreglass pools are installed by the Moggy’s Developments team. Moggy’s Developments first started operating solely as a building company in Mackay in 2010, building high quality, award winning homes and sheds.

James Mogford, a multi award winning builder, made the decision to add swimming pool and spa installation to the Moggy’s portfolio in 2015, after noticing a gap in the service market. James wanted to take a more streamlined approach, ensuring that the house, shed, pool and landscape construction work seamlessly together, therefore creating a more organised and relaxed build process for the client.

At Ocean Reef Pools we specialise in above and in ground fibreglass pools that offer not only the prestigious 5 Tick Australian Standards award but also a Lifetime Warranty, which perfectly matches our high quality expectations.

We chose the California Sparkle as our pool shell colour. I think it is quite new to the colour range and could not be happier. The reflections are beautiful and the appearance is very fresh/bright looking. The best thing about choosing a pool shell colour with The Fibreglass Pool Company is the chance to see a variety of colours in real life at the showroom. And to see the colours against a variety of tiles to make the best choice to suit your home. We love it.
Response from the owner:Hi Mel, thank you so much for your lovely feedback. California Sparkle is a beautiful choice, and we’re so happy to hear you love how fresh and bright it looks. It’s great to know the showroom helped you feel confident with your colour selection. We hope you enjoy your pool for many years to come. Kind Regards, TFPC Team

Plunge Pool Questions for Mackay Homeowners

What is a plunge pool?

A plunge pool is a compact swimming pool commonly used for cooling off, relaxing and spending time in the water without needing the dimensions of a larger family pool. Its reduced size can make it particularly useful when you want your backyard to serve several different purposes.

There isn’t one standard measurement that defines every plunge pool. Generally, they are smaller than conventional swimming pools and focus on making efficient use of available outdoor space. Our small and slimline fibreglass range includes several sizes that can provide a similar compact pool experience.

The right design will depend on the available width, length and overall layout of your backyard. Models such as the Imperial, Stradbroke, Heron and Hamilton Slimline are useful options to compare when you’re looking for smaller dimensions while still wanting space to swim and relax.

Every project is different, so the final price will depend on your chosen pool, property access, excavation, site conditions, installation requirements and any additional features. Having your property assessed allows your local team to prepare a quote based on the actual requirements of your backyard.

Yes. Small fibreglass pools aren’t limited to simply sitting or cooling off. Depending on the model, they can provide enough open swimming area for casual swimming, playing with the family and relaxing in the water while keeping the overall pool dimensions more compact.

Installation timeframes vary depending on site access, excavation requirements, approvals, weather and the overall project. Because fibreglass pool shells are manufactured before arriving onsite, the installation process can often be more streamlined than traditional concrete pool construction.

Pool approval, engineering and safety requirements depend on your property and individual project. Your local pool team can help coordinate the necessary approvals and compliance requirements before installation begins.
